"I Do" Wedding Ceremonies

Welcome

I am glad that you are here.
Now, Let's make sure that you have come to the right place.

I DO NOT HAVE A WEDDING CHAPEL

My speciality is officiating weddings at the location of your choice.
I will come to that special place you have chosen for your wedding.

I am located in South Eastern North Carolina; And I officiate
weddings within a 100 mile radius of the city of Wilmington
located in New Hanover County.

If you are considering getting married in South East North Carolina
I can help.

Beach Weddings, Chapels, Country Clubs, Parks, Plantations
and Back Yards; From short and sweet to elegant.

Large or small, Barefoot to Black Tie; Two witnesses or four
thousand guests, your wedding is a major event to me and I will
treat it as one of the momentous occasions in your lifetime.

The Wedding Service

The format of the vows is modern, relaxed, comfortable and non-denominational. By design, the emphasis is on love, commitment, and couple focused. The words used in the wedding ceremony have been carefully chosen to make you the center of attention on your day.
The ceremony is traditional, but modern. It is meant to be comfortable for all in attendance. Guests of different religious faiths will not be offended by what is said.

The ceremony can certainly be personalized. It is flexible enough to include such services as the Unity Ceremony, Inclusion of Children,  Hand Fasting, Crowning, Breaking of the Glass, Broomstick Jump and a "Moment of Rememberance" for departed loved ones. Special music, Poems, Scripture Readings and Personal Exchanges can also be included in the Wedding Ceremony.

Let's Meet

When possible, I like to meet with the couple and get aquainted. I only need about an hour of your time. At this meeting I will go over the vows word for word. That gives you the opportunity to know in advance exactly what will be said and when. If there is anything in the vows that you can not live with I will take it out. If there is something that you want said, I will put it in.
I understand that for some, and especially for those living out-of-state, a meeting is difficult to fit into a tight schedule. A pre-wedding meeting is preferred but not mandatory.

What you will need

In order to get married in the state of North Carolina, you must have a valid North Carolina marriage license issued by a Registrar of Deeds office within North Carolina. The license must be in the hands of the officiating minister before the wedding can take place. The good news is that you can get a license in any North Carolina County and use it in any North Carolina County. Those living out-of-state can learn more about the Marriage License requirements, and costs, by checking with someone in a specific county Registrar of Deeds office.
